The Center for Business and Innovation is a partnership between Thurston Economic Development Council (EDC) and South Puget Sound Community College (SPSCC).  Through them you can enroll in an Entrepreneur Certificate Program to increase your savvy running the business side of your future or growing enterprise. Thurston County was designated Washington state’s Innovation Partnership Zone (IPZ) for Craft Brewing and Distilling in 2015, recognizing the work of industry, workforce development, and research partners to strengthen these growing sectors. Thurston EDC is responsible for administering the IPZ for Tumwater and all of Thurston County.  This designation acknowledges the depth of partnership and commitment to fully realizing the Craft Brewing and Distilling Center hub.
